Saughter and May is advising Zurich on its acquisition of Generali’s non-life insurance business in Ireland

Saughter and May is advising Zurich Insurance Group (“Zurich”) on its acquisition of Generali’s non-life insurance business in Ireland which currently trades under the RedClick brand. The acquisition is conditional on legal and regulatory approvals and is expected to close by the end of 2026 or early 2027. Once completed, this will place Zurich among the top three Life and Non-Life insurance providers in Ireland.

Saughter and May is working closely with Zurich’s legal team, including Robert Kuster, Ed Bridge, Giles Rabbits and James Newman.
